Michael P. Neaton
Attorney Mike Neaton is the Supervising Attorney of our On-Call Consultants team, which provides timely legal access to our small business and individual clients throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Through our team of On-Call Consultant attorneys, WFJ has established a way to assist our clients with optimal service no matter the legal issue involved. Mike frequently advises clients in several areas of the law, including estate planning, estate administration, general business matters, real estate, consumer finance and traffic/misdemeanor defense. Mike works diligently for his clients, assisting them in navigating the law to properly assess risk, solve problems and achieve their goals.
Mike is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law. He received a Certificate of Achievement in Public Service from the Minnesota Justice Foundation, and was a staff member of the Law Review and a semi-finalist in the Rosalie Wahl Moot Court competition. While in law school, Mike also worked as a law clerk in the St. Paul City Attorney’s Office Civil Division. Prior to joining WFJ, Mike served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Rosanne Nathanson in the Second Judicial District, Ramsey County, focusing on criminal matters.
Mike has volunteered his time with Wills for Heroes, the Advocates for Human Rights, Legal Aid of Cambodia, Neighborhood Justice Center, and the Land Stewardship Project. When he’s not working, Mike enjoys reading, biking and spending time with his family.
