Meridith J.O. Socha
Meridith J.O. Socha is an associate attorney at WFJ and works primarily with our On-Call Consultants team, providing timely legal access to our small business and individual clients throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin and South Dakota. Through our team of On-Call Consultants, WFJ has established a go-to help desk for our clients no matter the legal issue involved. Meridith is a problem solver, and works with our clients to proactively manage risk no matter where the issue arises by utilizing the resources of WFJ and its affiliated law firms around the United States and Canada. She commonly assists her small business clients on human resources, purchasing, distribution, contract reviews, and other issues of importance to our clients within the structure of a service quality and price guaranty facilitated by our On-Call Consultants program. Meridith prides herself on legal research and presenting businesses with all available options for any given matter.
Prior to joining the firm, Meridith served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Bruce A. Peterson, District Court Judge in Hennepin County, Minnesota, with a calendar involving civil, family and criminal cases. During law school, she represented clients as a Student Director at the University of Minnesota Civil Practice Clinic, assisted clients at the Upper Midwest Pension Rights Project as a law clerk, and served as a law clerk for Kroll Ontrack, Inc. Meridith was also a finalist at the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition.
