Kammey M.K. Mahowald
Attorney Kammey Mahowald is a member of our On-Call Consultants team and advises clients in several area of the law, including business, consumer finance, landlord/tenant, family law and personal injury.
Prior to joining WFJ, Kammey worked for United States District Court for the District of North Dakota as a federal law clerk to The Honorable Bruce M. Van Sickle. During this clerkship, she gained knowledge of the federal criminal system as well as civil and criminal trials. Upon leaving the US District Court, Kammey became an associate attorney at a Saint Paul law firm where she litigated insurance defense cases, mass tort claims, medical malpractice actions, environmental law cases, personal injury matters, and product liability cases. She left that firm for another law firm where she expanded her expertise to include employment law matters. She has argued cases before the North Dakota and Minnesota Supreme Courts. Kammey was also a JAG Officer with the US Army Reserve. Kammey spent several years consulting with small to medium sized businesses on their legal matters especially contracts and employment issues.
Kammey volunteers with the ERHS soccer program and has volunteered with the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association. She has also volunteered and assisted in the classrooms of the local schools as well as military family support groups.
Outside of work, Kammey enjoys walking her black lab, reading, time with her family and watching the Minnesota United.
