John C. Markham
Attorney John C. Markham is a member of our On-Call Consultants team and advises clients in several areas of the law, including criminal, family, traffic, landlord-tenant, and civil litigation. John is knowledgeable, effective, and committed to helping clients achieve their legal goals.
John is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law. While in law school, John was named winner of the Van Oosterhout-Baskerville Domestic Competition, a year long appellate advocacy program open to all second year Iowa law students. John would go on to serve as Captain of the University’s National Moot Court Team, and was honored as one of only four students selected to present oral arguments before the Iowa Supreme Court.
Throughout his law school career, John worked as a law clerk for a respected, general practice firm in Iowa City, Iowa. Following law school, John spent time practicing with a private law firm where he focused primarily on civil litigation and municipal prosecution. Prior to joining WFJ, John also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Nancy J. Logering for the Tenth Judicial District of Minnesota.
In his free time, John enjoys reading, board games, trivia, and watching baseball.
