Janell M. Stanton
Attorney Janell Stanton is a member of our On-Call Consultants team, where she advises clients in several areas of the law including criminal, family, business, estate planning, consumer finance, and real estate. She also works with our Small Business clients, advising on employment law, contracts and collections. Janell is committed to helping all clients achieve the best possible resolution of their issues.
Prior to joining Wagner, Falconer & Judd, Janell worked for a large legal publishing company both as a project manager and as a research specialist attorney, conducting research in jurisdictions throughout the United States in all areas of the law. She also owned and operated her own firm for almost three years, predominantly practicing criminal defense, family law, and estate planning.
Janell received her law degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota in 2007, majoring in Sociology with emphasis on Law, Crime, and Deviance. Prior to becoming an attorney, Janell worked as a legal assistant for several years and for a child placing agency as a case manager.
Janell is passionate about volunteering and currently volunteers for Wills for Heroes, an organization that writes pro bono wills, powers of attorney, and health care directives for police officers, firefighters, and EMTs. She has also represented indigent clients through ProJustice MN.
In her free time, Janell enjoys spending time with her husband Kyle, their three cats, and both of her families. She enjoys hiking, travelling and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
